Our mission follows that of Kiwanis International and is to “improve the world one child and one community at a time”. The SG Kiwanis follow that principle and our programs center around supporting children and partnering with organizations and groups that align with our mission.
Service To Others
The SG Kiwanis Club proudly partners with school counselors to support graduating seniors who demonstrate a commitment to serving their community and exhibit financial need.Recommended students are invited to complete a scholarship application highlighting their achievements and goals. The Kiwanis Scholarship Committee will thoughtfully review each application to ensure the student meets the criteria and reflects the spirit of service behind the award. Through the scholarship, we hope to help students reach their career goals while encouraging them to stay involved and give back. Each selected student will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
The application deadline is March 30th, 2026 at 11:59 pm (PST). No late submissions will be considered.
Scholarship winners will be confirmed by April 15th, 2026.
Eligibility Requirements:

- Currently enrolled at Del Mar High School, Gabrielino High School, Options for Youth (San Gabriel site), San Gabriel Academy, San Gabriel Mission High School or San Gabriel High School (AUSD)
- Anticipate graduation in Spring 2026
- Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
- Plan to continue your education by attending an accredited 4-year college/university, community college, trade, or vocational school with plans to enroll and begin courses in the Summer or Fall of 2026 (proof of acceptance may be requested)
- Display financial need
- Demonstrate a commitment to serving your community.
