04 May The Pancake Breakfast & Egg Hunt 2019 is over!
Close to 1,000 breakfasts were served – 990 to be exact – at this 2019 session! We had a full Smith Park and our members and the City staff were all over the place, selling breakfast tickets, spatulas, raffle tickets, serving sausage and syrupy and buttery flapjacks!
It all started the night before with the Boys Scouts setting their camp on the lawn. They were the first in line, of course, the next day to claim their petit dej’. It was 7 AM. Then the crowd of hungry parents with their little and older ones joined the party. Face painting, pancakes races, music band and egg hunts kept them busy until 11 AM when we called it a wrap!
We declare the Pancake Breakfast & Egg Hunt 2019 a success!
